
Olympic Sports Coaches Show Set for March

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield has announced the March schedule for its WVU Olympic Sports Coaches Show live from the Mountain State Brewing Company in Morgantown.
The show has two Wednesday dates scheduled in March with baseball coach Steve Sabins getting the month started on March 11. Rifle coach Jon Hammond closes the month on March 18. All appearances are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company's location on Monongahela Boulevard and will be hosted by Andrew Caridi.
Sabins has the WVU baseball program off to a strong start with an 8-2 record in the first two weeks of the season. Hammond's rifle team is fresh off its fourth-straight conference championship and 18th overall. The Mountaineers will defend their 2025 national championship in Columbus, Ohio on March 13-14 and will compete for their 21st national championship overall.
"March is a busy month as our teams are going in many different directions," WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Matt Wells said. "We look forward to hearing about the first month of the WVU baseball season from Coach Sabins and to hearing Coach Hammond recap another ultra successful season for WVU Rifle."
For those not in attendance, the one-hour shows will be archived and available the following day on several listening options such as the Varsity Network App, the Apple Podcast Stream and the WVUSports.com audio on demand feature located on the school's official athletic website.
