MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team (6-7, 0-6 Big 12) returns home to host No. 13 Arizona State (11-4, 3-2 Big 12) on Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m. before welcoming No. 35 Arizona (10-8, 2-3 Big 12) on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. Match locations are to be determined.
WVU enters the weekend following its last outing at No. 45 BYU, where the Mountaineers dropped a 4-2 decision. West Virginia secured the doubles point and added a singles victory in the loss.
Thursday's match up against Arizona State marks just the second all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Sun Devils holding a 1-0 advantage in the series.
The Mountaineers close the weekend against Arizona on Saturday. The meeting will also be the second all-time matchup between the programs, with the Wildcats holding a 1-0 edge in the series.
