
WVU Announces 2026 Outdoor Track and Field Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team has announced its 2026 outdoor schedule, highlighted by three home meets at the WVU Track and Field Complex.
The Mountaineers begin the outdoor campaign on March 20-21, splitting squads between the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Fla. and the Marty Pushkin Invitational in Morgantown.
WVU continues competition the following week at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. from March 26-28.
The Mountaineers then travel to Fairfax, Va. for the Dalton Ebanks Spring Invitational, hosted by George Mason, on April 3-4 before competing at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa. on April 11-12.
West Virginia will split competition again in mid-April, sending athletes to the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. from April 16-18, while hosting the Mountaineer Showcase on April 17-18.
The Mountaineers conclude the regular season at home with the WVU Last Chance meet on May 9.
Postseason competition begins with the Big 12 Championships from May 14-16 in Tucson, Ariz., hosted by the University of Arizona.
Athletes who qualify will advance to the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds from May 26-30 in Lexington, Ky., with the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.
