
Olympic Sports Coaches Show Set for January

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield has announced the January schedule for its popular WVU Olympic Sports Coaches Show live from the Mountain State Brewing Company in Morgantown.
The show has two dates scheduled in January with gymnastics coach Jason Butts getting the 2026 schedule started on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Wrestling coach Tim Flynn closes the month on Tuesday, Jan. 20. All appearances are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company's location on Monongahela Boulevard and will be hosted by Andrew Caridi.
"Our January shows feature two coaches whose programs have tremendous fan support in the community," WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Matt Wells said. "The popular Beauty and the Beast event, which combines gymnastics and wrestling into one fun-filled night at Hope Coliseum, also returns Jan. 24 and is always a fan favorite ."
Butts starts his 15th season this weekend at Florida and has led the Mountaineers to 11 NCAA Regional appearances. Flynn, in his eighth season, has the WVU team ranked No. 21 with six grapplers appearing in the national rankings.
For those not in attendance, the one-hour shows will be archived and available the following day on several listening options such as the Varsity Network App, the Apple Podcast Stream and the WVUSports.com audio on demand feature located on the school's official athletic website.

Appearances by additional WVU Olympic Sports coaches in February will be announced at a later date.
