MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Redshirt junior Trinity Sheridan of the West Virginia volleyball team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

Sheridan earned Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic MVP honors after leading the Mountaineers to a dominant tournament performance. WVU posted a three straight-set sweeps on its way to a tournament title.

Sheridan was a force on both sides of the net, finishing the weekend with 25 kills on .500 hitting, while adding five digs, five blocks and 27.5 points.

With the sweep of the field, WVU secured its third straight tournament win and improved to 9-0 on the season, marking just the third time in program history the Mountaineers have opened with such a strong start.
