MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University gymnastics coach Jason Butts has announced the signing of Joslyn Bryner and Auden Pederson for the 2025-26 school year.
"Joslyn and Auden are the perfect additions to complete our 2025-26 roster" assistant coach Kaylyn Millick said. "I have no doubt each of the freshmen are going to make a huge impact on our lineups and help WVU gymnastics continue to push forward."
Joslyn Bryner / South Jordan, Utah
Hailing from South Jordan, Utah, Bryner graduated from Riverton High School. She is a two-year Level 10 gymnast for coach Tasmin Finn at Momentum Gymnastics. The daughter of Josh and Beki, Bryner plans to enroll in general studies at WVU.
"Everything about Joslyn embodies that of a Mountaineer," Millick said. "She has grit, a big personality and is very passionate about everything she does. I know she will make an immediate impact as a team player, but we also will see her skills continue to improve. Her confidence soared towards the end of her club career, especially on uneven bars, so I know she is coming in motivated and ready to contribute."

Also in 2025, Pederson competed at the Minnesota State Championships, where she had an impressive showing and placed in the top 10 on every event. Her top finishes at the state meet were a second-place finish on bars and fourth-place finishes on beam, floor and the all-around.
Pederson made her first appearance at the DP All-Stars meet in 2024, competing on floor. She earned her spot after securing top-20 finishes on every event at the 2024 Region 4 Championships. Her performance at regionals was highlighted by top-10 finishes on beam, floor and the all-around.
The daughter of Mike and Kelly, Pederson plans to major in journalism at WVU.
"Audie already brings so much joy to the Mountaineer family," Millick added. "With her infectious smile and positivity, I know she is ready to contribute in any way she can for this team. I am especially excited for Mountaineer Nation to see her on the floor exercise. She thrives off performing and exudes so much confidence on this event.
