
Lake Adds Two Air Rifle Finals at ISSF Junior World Cup

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Griffin Lake of the West Virginia University rifle team made his third straight final at the ISSF Junior World Cup on Saturday where he turned in a fifth-place finish in air rifle. Lake also teamed up with Elijah Spencer in mixed team air rifle to qualify for the bronze medal match where the pair finished in fourth place.
At the event, Lake added a third-place finish in 50m prone and a seventh-place finish in 50m 3-position.
Lake scored 628 in the air rifle qualifier before finishing the finals with a 176. In the mixed team air rifle event the pair qualified in third with a score of 630.6.
Jacob Wisman and Jack Ogoreuc also competed at the event. Wisman scored a 618.3 and Ogoreuc managed a 620.7 in air rifle.
