Ceili McCabe of the West Virginia University track and field team was selected to compete at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 14-15.
This year's championship will be held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is scheduled to kick off at 9:15 a.m. ET, on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
McCabe qualified for the women's 3,000-meter final race on March 15, which is set to start at approximately 4 p.m.
The indoor championships will be broadcasted live on ESPNU, while live stats can be found at WVUsports.com.
In her last outing in the event, McCabe claimed first place at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 1 with a time of 9:07.56. Additionally, the graduate student aided in WVU's distance medley relay championship on Feb. 28, when the Mountaineers set the meet record with a time of 11:09.42. With the conference titles, McCabe helped her team secure their highest finish at the indoor championship in program history in fourth place.
The Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada native currently ranks tenth in the nation in the 3,000 meters after posting a personal and program record time of 8:45.97 in the event on Dec. 7 at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Massachusetts.
This marks the fourth time that McCabe will compete at the national championship, after she finished sixth overall in the mile during the 2024 season with a time of 4:29.26. The finish was good enough to earn her eighth All-America honor, which she now holds nine honors across her cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field collegiate careers.
The final championship start list will be made available on March 12 and will be posted to NCAA.com.
