
West Virginia Jumps Three Spots to No. 18 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team is ranked No. 18 in the 14th edition of the AP Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll, released on Monday. The Mountaineers have been featured in the poll every week this season.
WVU earned 237 points in the poll. Four Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 9 TCU (527), No. 12 Kansas State (464) and No. 25 Oklahoma State (33). Baylor and Utah are featured in the receiving votes section.
Additionally, the NCAA's NET ranking was released and has the Mountaineers seated at No. 12.
West Virginia is back home on Wednesday, Feb. 5, when it welcomes Kansas to the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
