
Titus Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Following an upset win in the 141-pound match against Arizona State, redshirt junior Jordan Titus has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Titus earned his first win over a ranked opponent as he defeated Arizona State's No. 32 Emilio Ysaguirre on Sunday in West Virginia's final match of the regular season.
The win also marked the third conference win of the season for Titus. His victory helped the Mountaineers to their third consecutive season of 10 or more dual match wins.
West Virginia will compete in the 2025 Big 12 Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 8-9.
This Week in Women's Basketball: The Mountaineers open the week on Wednesday, Feb. 26, against Utah inside the WVU Coliseum … tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be the final regular season home game … the Mountaineers then hit the road to take on Cincinnati on Saturday, March 1 … Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET … the game will be the regular season finale.
Last Week in Women's Basketball: The Mountaineers moved to 21-6 on the season and 11-5 in Big 12 Conference play dropping a game on the road and picking up the program's 16th straight home win … the Mountaineers collected its second-ranked win of the season with a 70-57 win over No. 12 Kansas State … WVU then fell on the road to No. 10 TCU, 71-50, in Fort Worth.
