MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team swept Toledo and Temple to extend its winning streak to four matches on Saturday at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.
West Virginia (6-4) opened with a strong start against Toledo, winning the doubles point with ease. The pairing of freshman

Mille Haagensen won the No. 1 seed match, 6-3. The doubles team comprised of redshirt junior
Maja Dodik and senior
Michaela Kucharova cruised in the No. 2 spot, winning, 6-2.
In singles play, the Mountaineers remained on a roll. Haagensen and Bousseau each earned wins in their respective matches.
Bousseau trailed, 5-1, in the first set, but quickly rallied to win the set, 7-5. In the second set, she dominated Toledo's Gaby Rondon to win the match.
Freshman
Laura Villanueva Morillo continued her impressive season, winning in the No. 4 spot.
The Mountaineers jumped out to a 3-0 lead against Temple after winning the doubles point and winning the No. 2 and No. 3 seed singles matches. Bousseau finished undefeated in singles play on the weekend, winning, 6-4, 7-5, against Thamara Kawaratani.
Dodik had an impressive performance against Temple's Maria Martinez as she won in the No. 3 spot, 6-2, 6-3.
In a match that lasted over two hours, Haagensen battled in the No. 1 seed match against Irmak Ozturk. Haagensen won the first set, 6-2 but fell in the second set. She battled in the third set as she eventually won, 7-5.
