
West Virginia Holds at No. 18 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team is ranked No. 18 in the 15th edition of the AP Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll, released on Monday.
It marks the second straight week WVU has been featured at No. 18. The Mountaineers have been in the poll every week this season.
WVU earned 258 points in the poll. Five Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 11 TCU (443), No. 15 Kansas State (407), No. 20 Oklahoma State (156) and No. 25 Baylor (48). Utah is featured in the receiving votes section.
Additionally, the NCAA's NET ranking was released and has the Mountaineers seated at No. 11. The mark is the third highest for a Big 12 school with No. 8 Kansas State and No. 10 TCU just ahead of the Mountaineers.
West Virginia returns to the floor on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in Waco, Texas when they take on No. 25 Baylor inside Foster Pavilion. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
