
Golf Wraps Up Fall Season in Hawaii

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team will conclude its fall season at the inaugural Pearl at Kalauoa Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday at the Pearl at Kalauoa in 'Aiea, O'ahu.
The Mountaineers will be one of 18 teams competing in the event. Joining the Mountaineers will be host Hawai'i, Air Force, Army, Augusta State, Baylor, Belmont, Butler, Cal Baptist, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Hawaii Pacific, Nevada, SIU-Edwardsville, Utah Tech, UT Martin, UC San Diego and Wichita State.
West Virginia's lineup will consist of seniors Westy McCabe and Kaleb Wilson, sophomores Ryan Leach and Nick Turowski and freshman Jack Michael. Junior Harrison Thompson will compete as an individual.
Golfers will begin on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. HT (12:30 p.m. ET) with 36 holes of golf, followed by 18 holes on Thursday. The Pearl at Kalauoa is a par-72, 6,955-yard course.

The Mountaineers, ranked 31st in the latest Scoreboard by Clippd standings, currently sport a 56-14-0 record this fall. The spring season will open at the Battle at Briar's Creek on Feb. 2-3.
