
Play Suspended Due to Darkness in Kentucky

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Play was halted due to darkness with a few holes remaining in the second round of the Cullan Brown Collegiate on Monday in Lexington, Kentucky.
Golfers will complete round two Tuesday morning, followed by the final 18 holes of the tournament.
In round two, West Virginia jumped four spots with a current 3-under-par round and is currently tied for eighth place in the 15-team field.
West Virginia's scores in round one: Ryan Leach (71), Kaleb Wilson (72), Nick Turowski (73), Westy McCabe (75) and Jack Michael (78). Brody Burgess is competing as an individual and shot 76.
The Mountaineers have three golfers competing at the Red Flash Invitational in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Harrison Thompson is tied for 13th after shooting two rounds of Even par (70-70), Aidan Dortch is tied for 17th at +1 (71-70) and Gabe Schmitz is tied for 34th at +4 (71-73). The final round of the Red Flash Invitational will begin Tuesday morning.
