Two Mountaineers in Top 10 at Steelwood

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Kaleb Wilson and Nick Turowski are tied for ninth place at 3-under-par after two rounds of competition at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational in Loxley, Alabama, on Saturday.
After two rounds, Ryan Leach is tied for 23rd place (Even), Westy McCabe is tied for 33rd place (+2) and Jack Michael is tied for 64th place (+8).
The Mountaineers are in third place after shooting rounds of 286 and 284 (-6) in the 14-team field. Due to predicted inclement weather on Sunday, round three began late Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers are currently 6-under-par in round three and are tied for first place at -12. Weather-permitting, golfers will attempt to finish round three on Sunday.
