Salcedo Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – After an impressive showing on the road, freshman Jake Salcedo of the West Virginia University men's swim team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Salcedo earned two individual victories to help the Mountaineers secure their first dual-meet win of the season at Delaware.
The freshman set a pool record and swam the third fastest time in program history in the 1000-yard freestyle before adding another win in the 500-yard freestyle.
