
West Virginia Up One Spot to No. 17 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team moved up one spot to No. 17 in the 10th edition of the AP Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll, released on Monday.
WVU earned 261 points in the poll. Four Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 11 TCU (488), No. 12 Kansas State (462), and No. 22 Utah (99). Utah, Oklahoma State is featured in the receiving votes section.
Additionally, the NCAA's NET ranking was released and has the Mountaineers seated at No. 16.
West Virginia takes on Texas Tech on Wednesday, Jan. 8, inside United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
