MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –The West Virginia University track and field team concluded a weekend full of competition on Saturday at the Nittany Lion Challenge in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Saturday's meet was highlighted by redshirt sophomore
Annishka McDonald, who boasted a season best height of 1.70 meters in the women's high jump, taking 6
th place.
Additionally, redshirt sophomore
Olivia Cress checked in at 1.65 meters in the event, claiming 8
th place.
Next, West Virginia will compete at the Penn State National Open on Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. The Penn State National Open will take place at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track in University Park, Pa.
