
Mountaineers Wrap Up Weekend at Nittany Lion Challenge on Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –The West Virginia University track and field team concluded a weekend full of competition on Saturday at the Nittany Lion Challenge in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Saturday's meet was highlighted by redshirt sophomore Annishka McDonald, who boasted a season best height of 1.70 meters in the women's high jump, taking 6th place.
Additionally, redshirt sophomore Olivia Cress checked in at 1.65 meters in the event, claiming 8th place.
Next, West Virginia will compete at the Penn State National Open on Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. The Penn State National Open will take place at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track in University Park, Pa.
