Three Mountaineers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three Mountaineers from the West Virginia University tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators 2023-24 Academic All-District Team.
Redshirt sophomore Maja Dodik, junior Michaela Kucharova and senior Momoko Nagato were named to the team.
"We are very proud of our academic achievements for our program," head coach Miha Lisac said. "Maja, Momoko, and Michaela are great examples of the high standards that the team has established. These achievements also wouldn't be possible without our academic staff of tutors, especially [academic counselor] Jeremy Lannon."
This is the second straight year that Kucharova and Nagato were named to the Academic All-District Team.
To be selected, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Eligible nominees need to be in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.
