Mountaineer Athletic Club Announces Coaches Caravan Event Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Athletic Club, in partnership with West Virginia University Athletics, is excited to announce the 2024 Coaches Caravan presented by United Bank.
This May, the Coaches Caravan will travel across the state and beyond, stopping in Wheeling, Martinsburg, Parkersburg, Glade Springs, Manassas, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina. Tickets are now available for sale at all stops.
This annual event will feature food and drink options, photos with Head Football Coach Neal Brown and Head Men's Basketball Coach Darian DeVries, the opportunity to mix and mingle with current athletic coaches and administrators, a program hosted by Tony Caridi featuring Athletic Director Wren Baker and WVU coaches, giveaways, a silent auction and more. All six events will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. ET.
A portion of all ticket proceeds goes back to providing scholarship dollars to our Mountaineer student-athletes. For questions about a coaches caravan stop near you, please email the MAC at MAC@mail.wvu.edu.

- Monday, May 6: Manassas, Va. - 2 Silos Brewing Co.
- Tuesday, May 7: Glade Springs, W.Va. - The Resort at Glade Springs
- Wednesday, May 8: Martinsburg, W.Va. - The Purple Iris at Hartwood Mansion
- Thursday, May 9: Parkersburg, W.Va. - Grand Pointe
- Friday, May 10: Wheeling, W.Va. - Oglebay
- Monday, May 13: Charlotte, N.C. - Dilworth Neighborhood Grille
- Photos With Coaches – Attendees will have the opportunity to take their pictures with the coaches in attendance. 2024 Coaches Caravan coaches and administrators include Neal Brown, Darian DeVries, and Wren Baker. Coaches vary by location.
- MAC Giveaways & Information – The MAC will be on hand with giveaways and information so attendees can learn more about how they can support the success of Mountaineer student-athletes.
- Food & Beverage Options – Each menu varies by location, but all food is included in your ticket price.
- Trophy Tour – Various trophies will be on display, showcasing some of the great athletic moments from the latest athletic year.
- The Mountaineer – The Mountaineer will be in-person at each stop for high fives and photos.
- Program – The program will include updates from the MAC and Athletic administrators and time with the coaches in attendance to hear about their programs led by Tony Caridi. Tour coaches and administrators include Head Football Coach Neal Brown, Head Men's Basketball Coach Darian DeVries, and Athletics Director Wren Baker.
