The Goat WV PUB to host live, year-round Gold & Blue NIL Show
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – West Virginia Athletics and Mountaineer Sports Properties announced today a five-year partnership extension with The Goat WV Pub that includes the creation a new Gold & Blue NIL Show.
Now designated through the significant partnership expansion as the Official Sports Pub of WVU Athletics, The Goat WV Pub will serve as the host location of the live Gold & Blue NIL Show, which debuts in August and runs throughout the Mountaineer athletics season.
The monthly Gold & Blue NIL Show will provide NIL opportunities for student-athletes from across the athletic department to engage with the WVU fan base off the field. The live show at The Goat WV Pub will be open to the public and will also re-air on WVUSports.com and the WVU Sports mobile app.
"We're proud to see a local Morgantown business expand their support for our WVU athletic programs and Mountaineer student-athletes in such a significant way," Matt Wells, WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs said. "The Gold & Blue NIL show provides a great opportunity for even deeper engagement with our fan base, while putting our terrific student-athletes front and center."
"We opened The Goat WV Pub to create THE PLACE for all Mountaineer fans. Our core mission-based business model is to serve our community and support our very beloved WVU athletics all at the same time. A place to gather on and between every WVU game day, and this is another incredible way for us to create that atmosphere and vibe," said Bron Kayal, President of Harma Restaurant Group. "We look forward to kicking off the Gold & Blue NIL Show and hosting WVU student-athletes and fans alike to talk all things Mountaineers."
Located just a mile from Milan Puskar Stadium and showcasing a wide array of WVU memorabilia throughout, the Goat WV Pub began its partnership with WVU Athletics prior to the 2024 football campaign and now extends its commitment to the Mountaineers through the 2030-31 athletics season.
"We're thrilled to see The Goat WV Pub lean into WVU Athletics and Mountaineer student-athletes with such dedication," said Evan Hawkins, General Manager of Mountaineer Sports Properties. "Their passion for WVU is obvious and they are the perfect host to bring our student-athletes and fans together for the Gold & Blue NIL Show."
Mountaineer Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college sports – is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for West Virginia Athletics and handles all sponsorships, in-venue signage, and advertising on behalf of the Mountaineers.
