
Lake Earns Podium Finish at 2024 US Junior Olympics

COLORADO SPRING, Colo. – Freshman Griffin Lake competed at the 2024 US Junior Olympics where he turned in two finals appearances and a runner-up finish in smallbore at the US Olympic Training Center.
Lake opened his match with a runner-up finish in men's smallbore, scoring a 453.1 in the finals. The native of Emmaus, Pennsylvania scored a 586 in his opening relay before notching a 591 in the second relay to score the second-best aggregate score of 1177.0.
He later qualified for the finals in air rifle, scoring a 206.2 to claim fourth place. He hits marks of 623.1-620.4 across the opening two relays to score a 1243.5 aggregate score. His aggregate totals were the fourth-best in the field.
