
Four Mountaineers Earn CRCA All-American Honors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Four members of the West Virginia University rifle team took home a combined eight All-America honors from the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA), as announced by the organization.
Griffin Lake swept first-team honors across aggregate, smallbore and air rifle. Lake's season average of 1190.1 in aggregate and 592.4 in smallbore were the second best in the nation while his 597.6 in air rifle was the sixth best.
Jennifer Kocher also collected three honors, finished on the second team in smallbore and added honorable mentions in both aggregate and air rifle.
Camryn Camp also collected an honorable mention in smallbore while Ashlyn Blake managed honorable mention status in air rifle.
Additionally, Lake was named the CRCA Most Valuable Shooter at the end of the 2026 NCAA Rifle National Championship. Additionally, Scholastic All-American's will be announced at the end of the academic year.
In total, the Mountaineers have earned 512 all American honors across the history of the program. WVU has 255 first team selections, 186 second team and 71 third team or honorable mentions.
