Box Score MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 71 West Virginia University tennis team lost to No. 62 UCF, 5-2, at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown on Sunday.

Momoko Nagato lost, 6-2, in the No. 1 spot while graduate student

Tatiana Lipatova won, 6-2, in the No. 3 seed match.
The pairing of freshman
Maya Bordereau and redshirt sophomore
Maja Dodik fought back after falling behind, 4-2, in the No. 2 seed match. Unfortunately, UCF rallied to win the set and the doubles point to lead, 1-0.
In singles play, the Mountaineers were unable to find any momentum. Bordereau was defeated in the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 6-0, and Dodik lost in the No. 4 seed match, 6-2, 6-3, as WVU quickly fell behind, 3-0.
UCF locked up the win when West Virginia's
Love-Star Alexis lost in the No. 1 seed match, 6-4, 6-3.
