MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three West Virginia University golfers will compete at the Wolfpack Individual Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Junior Pierce Grieve and sophomores Carson Kammann and Westy McCabe will represent the Mountaineers. Golfers will play 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. WVU will begin at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday.
"It will be good to see what Pierce, Carson and Westy can do with this opportunity," coach Sean Covich said. "All three of these guys are very talented and have been in our starting lineup before. I hope they get some good work in and make the most of this opportunity to compete."
The rest of the Mountaineers will travel to Dorado, Puerto Rico, to compete in the Dorado Beach Collegiate from Sunday-Tuesday. More information on that event will come late Saturday.
