
West Virginia Moves to No. 14 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the sixth edition of the AP Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll, released on Monday.
The Mountaineers are 10-1 this season and are currently riding a two-game win streak after opening the season with eight straight wins.
WVU earned 384 points in the poll. A total of three Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 12 TCU (453) and No. 13 Kansas State (417). Iowa State, Utah and Oklahoma State are featured in the receiving votes section.
Additionally, the NCAA's third NET ranking of the season was released and has the Mountaineers seated at No. 10.
West Virginia stays the road this week for their first Big 12 Conference matchup of the season. The Mountaineers open conference play against Colorado in Boulder at the CU Events Center with tipoff set for 8 p.m. ET.
