Big 12 Day Two

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team has completed 54 holes of competition at the Big 12 Golf Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Junior Jackson Davenport leads WVU after three rounds. He shot 3-over-par Tuesday and is tied for 19^th place at 7-over-par. Sophomore Max Green shot 6-over-par today and is tied for 21^st place at 8-over-par. Freshman Westy McCabe was 4-over-par on Tuesday and is tied for 33^rd place at 13-over-par. Freshman Kaleb Wilson is tied for 30^th place at 12-over-par after shooting +7 on Tuesday. Junior Oli Ménard was inserted into the lineup for an ill Todd Duncan. Ménard shot +8 on Tuesday.

West Virginia (299-281-300=880) sits in ninth place at +40, nine strokes ahead of Iowa State. The Mountaineers are one shot out of seventh place, held by No. 24 K-State and No. 31 Baylor.

The fourth and final round of the Big 12 Golf Championship will begin Wednesday morning.
