MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Andrew Caridi sits down with senior Emmitt Matthews Jr. to talk about his final run with the Mountaineers. West Virginia was knocked off by top-seeded Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals, but Matthews will get another opportunity to put on a WVU jersey next week for the NCAA Tournament.
The Mountaineer women are looking to punch their ticket into the Big Dance when their conference tournament begins tomorrow at noon ET against fourth-seeded Oklahoma State. The two teams split regular season play with West Virginia claiming the most recent game on March 1. WVU enters tournament play on a three-game winning streak in coach Dawn Plitzuweit's first season at the helm.
