Beauty and the Beast Returns This Winter

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University wrestling and gymnastics teams jointly announce the return of the Beauty and the Beast meet for the 2023-24 seasons.
The popular promotion, in which the two teams will compete simultaneously, is set for Sunday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum. The wrestling team will face Glenville State, while the gymnastics team will compete against Big 12 Conference foes Denver and Iowa State.
The Beauty and the Beast meet is set to return to the WVU Coliseum for the first time since Feb. 23, 2020.
Tickets for the match are $8 each, as one ticket will admit fans to both events. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800 WVU GAME. Any remaining tickets will be available at the Mountaineer Ticket Office on meet day, which opens one hour prior to the start of the event.
The WVU wrestling team kicks off its 2023-24 campaign at the Southeast Open in Salem, Virginia, on Saturday, Nov. 4, while the gymnastics team opens its 2024 season on Sunday, Jan. 7, when it hosts Temple at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.
