Gavin Barnick qualified for the air rifle final on the opening day of the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
Tucker qualified for the women's finals with a mark of 630.2 which was the second best in the field. During the finals, the Sarasota, Florida native produced a 226.3 to finish in third place.
Barnick qualified for the men's final after posting a qualifying score of 624.6. The score was the fourth best in the field. He then managed a 183.5 in the finals to claim fifth place.
Up next at the Pan American Games is mixed team air rifle taking place Monday. Women's smallbore action is set for Wednesday as men's smallbore takes place on Friday.
