
Play Suspended at Arizona Intercollegiate

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team opened its spring season on Monday at the Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Arizona.
Play was suspended in the second round due to darkness. Golfers will finish the second round beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, followed by the third round of 18 holes Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Trent Tipton and junior Will Stakel paced the Mountaineers in round one, shooting 1-over-par. In the suspended second round, sophomore Max Green is 2-under-par after 13 holes, while junior Jackson Davenport is 1-under-par after 12 holes. Tipton is 1-over-par in the second round after 10 holes.
