During Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season, 12 former Mountaineers saw action. New York starting wide receiver, David Sills V secured three catches for 37 yards to help the Giants to a 19-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers. The veteran wide receiver made his NFL debut during Week 7 of the 2021 season and has gone on to start Weeks 1 and 2 for the Giants this year. Sills saw action on 67 offensive plays during Sunday's game.

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks 7, 49ers 27) 
Geno Smith  –  QB – 10th season – Started at quarterback and went 24-of-30 for 197 yards and tallied two rushing attempts. Smith logged action on all 49 offensive plays.
 
Tennessee Titans (Titans 7, Bills 41)
David Long Jr. – LB – 4th season – Started at linebacker and recorded two total tackles, including one solo stop and one TFL. Long saw action on 55 defensive plays.
