MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -
Sean McNeil was one of seven seniors recognized yesterday afternoon prior to West Virginia's 70-64 victory over TCU to conclude its regular season with an overall record of 15-16.
Despite the disappointing team mark, McNeil's senior season has been far from disappointing.
The Union, Kentucky, resident scored 10 points in his final home appearance for the Mountaineers and he wrapped up the regular season with 366 points. His three-year total sits at 876 heading into postseason play.
The guard scored a career-high 26 points twice against Texas Tech on Feb. 9, 2021 and against Kansas State on Jan. 8, 2022.
He has an opportunity to score even more points when tournament play begins next Wednesday night at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
Be sure to check out what McNeil has to say about his three seasons at WVU, which included an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021.
