MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia concludes its two-game Big 12 road trip tonight in Ames, Iowa, against Iowa State.
The Mountaineers (14-13, 3-11) lost 77-67 at TCU on Monday night in Fort Worth.

Taz Sherman scored a game-high 23 points, including the 1,000
th of his Mountaineer career, in the loss. Second half shooting woes once again plagued WVU on Monday night as the Mountaineers connected on just 9 of their 26 field goal attempts following intermission.

Kedrian Johnson was the only other WVU player to reach double figures with 12.
Iowa State (18-9, 5-9) last played on Saturday when it knocked off Oklahoma in impressive fashion, 75-54. Senior guard Izaiah Brockington continues to lead the Cyclones with averages of 17.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-4 guard poured in 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting against the Sooners last Saturday.
Freshman guard Tyrese Hunter is giving Iowa State 11 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while 6-foot-4 senior guard Gabe Kalscheur shows averages of 9.4 points and 2.3 boards per contest.
West Virginia snapped its seven-game losing streak with its 79-63 victory over Iowa State in Morgantown on Feb. 8, but has since dropped four straight since.
The Cyclones are 13-4 at Hilton Coliseum this year and are 5-4 all-time against West Virginia in the facility. The Mountaineers won both meetings last year and have captured 11 out of the last 13 regular season games, including a 76-72 victory in Ames last season.
