MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior Mary Tucker of the No. 6-ranked West Virginia University rifle team is set to travel to Lima, Peru, for the 2022 Continental America (CAT) Championships from Nov. 8-12.
Tucker will compete for Team USA in four events at the 13th edition of the CAT Championships, which will serve as a qualifying event for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
The Sarasota, Florida, native is set to individually compete in the women's 10-meter air rifle final on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and the women's 50-meter rifle, three-positions final on Friday, Nov. 11.
Tucker will compete with other members of Team USA on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the women's air rifle team final. She concludes her time in Lima on Saturday, Nov. 12, in the women's 50-meter rifle, three-positions team final.
