WVU Heads to Lock Haven University

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team travels to Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, to compete in the Go Fast River Run hosted by Lock Haven University at LHU's West Branch XC Course on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The women's 6k race is set to begin at 2 p.m. ET. Live stats will be available at WVUsports.com.
The Mountaineers last competed at Lock Haven University in 2021. Cross Country alum Haley Jackson took first place, finishing the 6k in a time of 20:51.5. Redshirt sophomore Maria Kaylor followed Jackson and finished fifth with a time of 21:33.6. WVU was one of 27 schools that competed during the meet.
In their last meet, West Virginia ran at the Penn State National Open. Redshirt junior led the Mountaineers in the open, finishing 1st with the second best time in Penn State National Open history (20:00.8). The team won with a score of 65 points.
