MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The promotional schedule for the 2022-23 West Virginia University women's basketball home schedule was announced by the WVU Athletics Marketing Department on Thursday.
 
SEASON-LONG PROMOTIONS:
Post-game Autographs: A select Mountaineer student-athlete will be available for 30 minutes after 11 of the 15 regular-season home games to sign autographs for the fans!
Tee's for 3's: Following every Mountaineer 3-pointer this season, t-shirts, courtesy of the Mountaineer Maniacs, will be tossed into the crowd.

SINGLE-GAME PROMOTIONS:
Sun., Oct. 30 - Fairmont State (Exh.), 2 p.m.:  TRUNK OR TREAT / HAUNTED HOOPS
Trunk or treat around the WVU Coliseum complex begins at 12 p.m.! Kids are encouraged to attend and grab candy from WVU student organizations. Stick around for the Mountaineers Haunted Hoops game against Fairmont State, with tipoff at 2 p.m. 

Thurs., Nov. 10 - USC Upstate, 7 p.m.: VETERANS DAY GAME 
Join the Mountaineers for their regular-season, home opener as we honor veterans and military personnel in a celebration of Veteran's Day. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a Mountaineer basketball Veteran's Day-themed baseball cap. Be sure to also pick up a free poster commemorating Coach Dawn Plitzuweit.

Thurs., Nov. 17 - Winthrop, 10 a.m.: EDUCATION DAY GAME
An exciting day of education and basketball returns as each student who attends will be able to experience a collegiate basketball game free of charge and receive an educational workbook filled with questions, games and more! Additionally, we will be running educational-based promotions throughout the game. School registration is required. For more information, contact david.simms@mail.wvu.edu

Sun., Nov. 20 - Appalachian State, 1 p.m.: LACE UP 4 PEDIATRIC CANCER
The Mountaineers will Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer, partnering with the Go 4 the Goal Foundation and WVU Medicine Children's. The game will feature a gold rally towel giveaway for the first 500 fans in attendance.

Wed., Nov. 30 - North Carolina Central, 7 p.m.: MOUNTAINEER TOY DRIVE  
In the spirit of holiday giving, donate a new or gently used toy item for the Mountaineer Toy Drive against NC Central. Each fan who donates at least one toy will receive one (1) complimentary General Admission ticket, valid for any remaining WVU women's basketball home, regular-season contest.  

Sat., Dec. 3 - Delaware State, 2 p.m.:  - FAMILY DAY
Bring out the entire family and save! Purchase a Family Day ticket package of 4 tickets and a $10 concession voucher for only $25! Members of 'Coach P's Mini Mountaineers' are encouraged to attend to take part in pre-game introductions! 

Thurs., Dec. 8 - Robert Morris, 7 p.m.: - UGLY SWEATER HOLIDAY GAME / DOLLAR NIGHT
Tickets and select concessions are available for just $1 each! Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite holiday sweater to the game.

Sat., Dec. 31 - Oklahoma, 2 p.m.: - NEW YEAR'S EVE IN THE COLISEUM  
Ring in the New Year with the Mountaineers, as they battle Oklahoma in the Big 12 Conference home opener! The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a women's basketball themed 2023 desktop calendar.  

Tues., Jan. 10 - TCU, 7 p.m.: BASKETBALL TRIVIA NIGHT
Test your women's basketball trivia knowledge during our Basketball Trivia contest! Come out and play for a chance to win prizes! It's also Faculty/Staff Appreciation night, and all WVU employees will be granted free admission with a valid employee ID.
Sun., Jan. 15 - Baylor, 3 p.m.: "I BELONG" DIVERSITY & INCLUSION GAME
WVU hosts its annual "I Belong" game to celebrate diversity and inclusion on Saturday, Jan. 15, against Baylor. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive an "I Belong" t-shirt.

Sat., Jan. 21 - Texas Tech, TBA: - GOLD RUSH / ALUMNI REUNION GAME
All fans are encouraged to wear GOLD for the annual Gold Rush game against Texas Tech. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a gold shaker. Additionally, join us as we honor Mountaineers of the past for the squad's annual alumni reunion game.

Wed., Feb. 1 - Texas, 7 p.m.: - NATIONAL GIRLS & WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
A celebration of Fifty Years of Title IX and National Girls & Women In Sports Day, join us for the battle against Texas on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. The first 300 youth sports athletes in attendance will receive a squeeze bottle to use to stay hydrated during their next competition! The matchup against the Longhorns will be the second 'Coach P's Mini Mountaineers' game of the season!

Sat., Feb. 11 - Iowa State, 6 p.m.: - PINK GAME
The annual Pink Game, presented by the WVU Cancer Institute, will be on Saturday, Feb. 11, against Iowa State at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear PINK in support of the fight against breast cancer.

Wed., Feb. 15 - Kansas, 7 p.m.: DOLLAR NIGHT
Tickets and select concessions available for just $1 each for the final time this season!

Sat., Feb 25 - Kansas State, 6 p.m.: SENIOR NIGHT
Join us as we honor the 2023 senior class with a pregame ceremony! The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a special poster, featuring our 2023 senior student-athletes. 

Wed., Mar. 1 - Oklahoma State, 7 p.m.: FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
We would like to give our thanks to all of Mountaineer Nation for their loyal support throughout the season during Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, March 1! All fans in attendance will be entered to win a raffle prizes throughout the night. 

Fans can purchase tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU GAME or visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office located at the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 90 minutes prior to tipoff on game days.

Single-game tickets are $7 each for reserved seats, $5 each for general admission (GA) and $3 each for groups of 10 or more when purchased in advance at WVUGAME.com. At the WVU Coliseum ticket window, tickets will be $9 for all reserved seats, $7 for adult GA, $5 for youth and seniors GA and $3 for groups GA. The discounted online pricing will be available until tipoff of the game.
