MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Canton, Michigan senior McKenna Linnen and Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts senior Michelle Waldron discuss the lifelong friendship they've developed since becoming West Virginia University gymnastics teammates four years ago.
Linnen is a three-time NACGC/W Scholastic All-American and Dr. Gerald Lage Award recipient, while Waldron won the Sally Medrick Award in 2018, as the team's most improved gymnast.
The Mountaineers have meets on the horizon this Friday at Pitt and then Sunday at the WVU Coliseum at 2 p.m. to conclude the regular season.
The Coliseum also will be the host venue for this year's Big 12 Championship on Saturday, March 20, at 2 p.m.
The Mountaineers captured their first meet victory of the abbreviated season against the Panthers on Friday, March 5.
