
Mountaineers Move Up to No. 21 in Coaches Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team (15-2, 9-2 Big 12) moved up two spots to rank No. 21 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, announced Tuesday.
The Mountaineers received 155 points to rank No. 21. West Virginia is ranked behind No. 20 Northwestern and in front of No. 22 DePaul.
WVU is one of two Big 12 teams featured in today's poll. Baylor (14-2, 9-1 Big 12) received 566 points and dropped one spot to rank No. 9 this week.
Next up, West Virginia welcomes Kansas to Morgantown, on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Opening tip against the Jayhawks is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with Nick Farrell, Warren Baker and Anjelica Trinone on the call.
