WVU-Maryland Eastern Shore Canceled

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team has announced that this week's game against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Wednesday, Dec. 29, has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the UMES program. The game will not be rescheduled.
Fans who purchased tickets for Wednesday's contest can contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office to exchange those tickets to any remaining home game in 2021-22.
Next up, West Virginia embarks on a two-game road trip from Jan. 2-5, as it opens its 2022 Big 12 Conference slate. WVU travels to Ames, Iowa, to open the league schedule at Iowa State on Sunday, Jan. 2, before traveling to square off against Kansas in Lawrence, on Wednesday, Jan. 5. Tip-off times are set for 4 p.m. ET, and 7 p.m., respectively.
