MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This week's Mountaineer Insider Podcast takes a look back at the outstanding life of long-time West Virginia University assistant football coach Donnie Young, who spent nearly 50 years at WVU as a player, coach and administrator.
 
Young died earlier this week in Morgantown at age 77 following a lengthy illness. 
 
Dan caught up with Mountaineer Sports Network colleagues Dwight Wallace, who spent time on Don Nehlen's staff with Young, and Dale Wolfley, who played for and worked with Young, to get their thoughts on Young's great contributions to Mountaineer football.
 
Donnie was inducted into the West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.
