"We like coming here (New Hampshire)," Mountaineer coach
Jason Butts said. "It's an easy trip with very competitive teams. I was happy with the energy today. It was a long competition, so I was proud of the team for keeping their energy up throughout the whole meet.
"Overall, I was happy with our performance. The little details are just haunting us a little bit, and that's what we must improve on this week in practice heading to Oklahoma and then going into Pittsburgh. We have the opportunities to hit some great road scores. This is a good road score, but it's not great. I know we're going to get there by fixing the little things, but I must keep reminding myself that we are only five meets into the season. We are not even at the halfway point yet. We have the depth, and we have the scores, we just have to keep building."
