"Last week wasn't the performance that we wanted, but it showed us the potential that we have," Mountaineer coach
Jason Butts said. "We were not satisfied, and I think that's a good thing. In the past we may have been satisfied, but we went back to the gym on Monday and put them under some pressure. We have three road meets in a row, and those scores are going to count big time. We hope these next few weeks pay off for us."
Ranked No. 24 in last week's rankings, the Mountaineers fell to No. 26 (195.175 avg.) overall following a third-place, 194.85 showing at George Washington's quad meet.
