The Mountaineer Athletic Club is arranging a Virtual Lunch with WVU head coaches, including men's basketball's Bob Huggins, this Friday, Nov. 13 at noon.
Coaches participating in the event will each provide an update on their programs and also be available for a 20-minute question and answer session at the end of the program.
West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons will take part to provide a department update and Ben Murray, senior associate athletics director and executive director of the Mountaineer Athletic Club, will discuss MAC items.
"The coaches are all going to have an opportunity to speak for a few minutes and likely 20 minutes of the hour presentation will be Q&A, so everyone who is on there will have a chance to ask questions or submit questions in advance," Jamie Hall, assistant athletics director for donor relations and administration, said. "It's going to be like our coaches caravan format."
Football coach Neal Brown and volleyball coach Reed Sunahara will be unavailable. Brown will be getting his team prepared for Saturday's home game against TCU at Milan Puskar Stadium while Sunahara will be preparing for a Friday evening home match against top-ranked Texas.
Popular WVU play-by-play man Tony Caridi will serve as master of ceremonies.
Fans can sign up for the Virtual Lunch through the Mountaineer Athletic Club website. Included in the virtual presentation are a koozie and a $25 gift card from Kegler's Sports Bar & Grill in Morgantown.
A link to the virtual event will be distributed to all registrants on Thursday, according to Hall.
She said she will continue to accept registrations until 11 a.m. on Friday.
