West Virginia Ranks No. 25 in Coaches Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team remains at No. 25 in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, announced Tuesday.
The Mountaineers (7-1) received 58 points in this week's rankings to check in at No. 25. WVU is 10 points behind No. 24 Tennessee.
WVU is one of two Big 12 schools in this week's poll. Baylor (8-1) remains No. 5 this week, receiving 640 points. Non-conference opponent Michigan State (7-2) receives 85 points and is two spots ahead of the Mountaineers, at No. 23.
West Virginia travels to Orlando, Florida, from Dec. 21-22, for a pair of games at the Florida Sunshine Classic. The Mountaineers are set to square off against No. 19 Michigan State on Saturday, Dec. 21, and Syracuse on Sunday, Dec. 22. Both games are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET at Warden Arena at Rollins College.
