WVU Tallies CSCAA Spring Academic Honors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the 2018 spring semester.
CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams
For the 21st consecutive semester, the Mountaineer women's team earned the national honor after recording a cumulative grade point average of 3.46. The WVU men earned a 3.12 GPA and received the accolade for the third time in the last four semesters.
Each participating Big 12 Conference swimming and diving program was named to the Scholar All-American Teams in the spring semester. The conference is one of four nationally to have all teams accomplish the feat.
The award, presented twice a year, recognizes college and university swimming and diving teams who achieved a cumulative semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In all, 710 teams from 476 schools were named to the Scholar All-America list for the 2018 spring semester.
