
Mountaineer Pair Bound for Korea

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior Elizabeth Gratz and junior Ginny Thrasher of the West Virginia University rifle team will represent the United States at the ISSF Changwon World Cup, April 20-30, at the Changwon International Shooting Range in Changwon, Korea.
Gratz and Thrasher are among the 35 athletes representing USA Shooting at the championship and two of the nearly 900 athletes from 70 countries competing in rifle, pistol and shotgun.
Thrasher and Gratz will open the championship with the women's 10m air rifle competition on Sunday, April 22. Thrasher will compete in the main competition, with Gratz shooting in a Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS) position, meaning she is ineligible for the final or a medal.
Thrasher returns to competition on Thursday, April 25, and will shoot from an MQS position in the women's 50m 3 positions.
