2018 Volleyball Camps Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team announced its 2018 camp dates, as third-year coach Reed Sunahara and his staff will hold a variety of camps throughout the summer.
Two three-day camps, two one-day camps and one middle school all-skills camp will be offered. Of note, each camp session will be held at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.
Mountaineer Academy | 3rd – 12th grade
Event Date: June 5-7
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $115 (commuter)
This academy will focus on introducing and reinforcing the fundamental skills of volleyball.
Serving Clinic | 3rd – 12th grade
Event Date: June 21
Time: 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $40
Campers will work on the process and technique of becoming a consistent server.
Position Camp | 7th – 12th grade
Event Date: July 12
Time: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: $115 (commuter)
Athletes will be instructed in proper and advance techniques in all specialized volleyball skills with tons of repetitions.
Elite Camp | 9th – 12th grade
Event Date: July 13-15
Day One: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Day Two: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Day Three: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: $300 (commuter) | $375 (overnight)
This camp offers the highest level of training to experienced and advanced high school and club players.
Middle School All-Skills Camp | 5th – 8th grade
Event Date: July 27-28
Day One: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Day Two: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: $195 including lunch (commuter)
*Teams are encouraged to attend*
This camp is designed for all individuals and teams. Skills and position training will be emphasized in the morning, followed by tournament play in the afternoon.
