MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University rifle team moves up to No. 1 in this weeks College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Rankings.
Today's rankings are based on each team's highest score shot in its most recent weekend of action. The Mountaineers (9-0, 4-0 GARC) shot 4703 in a win over TCU (4678) on Saturday, Nov. 10, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Air Force ranks No. 2 (4694), and Alaska-Fairbanks follows at No. 3 (4693). Kentucky ranks No. 4 (4691) and Murray State sits at No. 5 (4682).
TCU ranks No. 6 (4678) and is followed by Memphis at No. 7 (4674). Nebraska ranks No. 8 (4669), and Morehead State checks-in at No. 9 (4667). Navy sits at No. 10 (4665).
The Mountaineers are home this weekend and will compete against NC State on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., at the Bill McKenzie Rifle Range inside the WVU Shell Building.
